Links Golf Course | Belle Mare Plage Golf Club

Mauritius, Island

Savour the views before setting out to play this stunning second 18-hole championship golf course at Constance Belle Mare Plage. Designed by Rodney Wright and Peter Allis and with a par 71 this course throws up its own challenges for golfers. One of the locations for the MCB Tour Championship, the final stage of the European Senior Tour, the course sits beneath the west-facing clubhouse and is equipped with a practice fairway.

Constance Belle Mare Plage’s other course, the Peter Alliss/Rodney Wright-designed Links course is an equally challenging 5942 metres par 71 layouts that opened for play in 2002. The Golf course is equipped with a practice fairway and built according to USPGA specifications.
With much less water than the Legend course several lakes, the Links still test the golfer on the back nine, particularly on the par four 13th and par three 14th both of which require short iron approaches over water to small greens.

For the rest of the holes, when the water is not challenging, there are plenty of strategically placed bunkers and outcrops of volcanic rock to keep the golfer on his or her toes.

With its own Golf Academy with professional and qualified golf instructors, coaching sessions are available both individually and in groups and free green fee for guests staying in Constance Belle Mare Plage and Constance Le Prince Maurice.
