Location

Located just over an hour north of Hluhluwe, the resort is set deeply within the Manyoni Private Game Reserve. At the border of the reserve, there is a direct road that takes you to Leopard Mountain Lodge, taking around 25 minutes. The nearest airport is King Shaka International Airport, located around 3 hours and 30 minutes away

With a selection of game drives available, your stay is bound to be packed full of South African adventures. From early morning safaris with expert guides to the midday waterhole experience where you can watch a variety of animals come together to drink from the hole. The chance to touch and feed elephants is one you don’t want to pass up on, standing in front of these spectacular creatures is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

In the evening eat at The Boma, where a tasty African inspired meal is on offer. As the sun goes down, listen to the distant roars of the lions, and baboons barking from trees in the distance.

At Leopard Mountain Lodge there are a variety of activities and attractions to indulge in. The Elephant Encounter is just a 45-minute drive from the lodge. Slightly further afield is Saint Lucia town, enjoy lake trips and the Crocodile farm; both just 2 hours away. Within one hour is Hluhluwe town, home to The Big Five Hluhluwe Game Reserve.

Another great activity is within an hour, the opportunity to go tiger fishing, which is sure to put up a good fight.

The Zimbali Country Club is a hidden gem amongst the many amazing South African courses. The Tom Weiskopf design combines a perfect mixture of immaculate rolling fairways and scenic changes in elevation, offering stunning views of the Dolphin Coast.

Prince’s Grant’s 18-hole Championship Course is situated on the Dolphin Coast. Accompanying the 2km’s of private beach and serene natural setting is a challenging, but exceptional course for all golfers.

Mount Edgecombe Country Club offers two fantastic 18-hole championship courses, the Woods and the Lakes courses. The Woods provides a beautiful parkland layout suitable for all abilities whilst the Lakes is a slightly harder challenge.
