Excellent hotel where we have previously stayed. Staff always friendly and helpful, food is superb and facilities are excellent. Will be going again this year

Dear Sir/Madam,\r\nI have just spent 4 nights at your hotel August 2nd to August 5th, I would like to offer some feed back of our visit.\r\nPrior to arrival we looked at your reviews, on paper the hotel looked very good especially for couples without children, sadly this was not the case at all!\r\nWe arrived on Monday evening at about 21.00 hrs. We we greeted by reception, unfortunately they printed off someone elses details, when we pointed this out, the lady said \"just cross it all out and write your details\" not a good start!\r\nThe next morning we tried to book the Ala Carte restaurants, we were told they were fully booked but we could book the Steak house for Thursday which we did.\r\nThats where the fun stopped!\r\nHere is a list of our experiences during our stay.\r\n1. Due to the intervention of our travel agent we did manage to book for Tuesday and Wednesday. Unfortunately the experience was not good, why does the hotel allow small children in there? It was very noisy with kids running around oblivious to the staff on duty. You should have a no under 13 rule for children. \r\n2. Before we went to the restaurant we decided to have a pre dinner drink in the bar near to reception, again the lobby was full of screaming children, some on scooters near to where we were drinking. \r\n3. Children were seen banging toys on the fish tanks close to the guest relations, they did nothing to stop this!\r\n4. We entered the elevator one day and it looked like a child had urinated in the elevator, despite reporting this the mess was still there 2 hours later! In addition on another occasion children were playing in the elevator all day pressing all the buttons!\r\n5. While sat in the evening children were leaving the pool and sitting on the lounge seats soaking wet, again the staff did nothing to stop it.\r\n6. Near the river there is a tow path, families were allowed to drive the buggies. on more than one occasion 6 or 7 yr old\'s were seen driving them when elderly people and small children were walking there.\r\n7. We visited reception on two occasions, once to change Turkish lira into Euros the other to change a 200 lira note for small change, on both occasions they could not help!\r\n8. When we arrived of course most of our clothes were creased, we requested an iron and ironing board, we were told that we would have to pay to have them pressed, shocking for a 5 star hotel!\r\n9. One one occasion while returning to our room a young boy was kicking all the flowers on the ground floor, I shouted at him to stop!\r\n10. The buffet food was way below the standard of a 5 star hotel, Luke warm and not a good choice at all.\r\n\r\nTo be fair all the waiters were very good, good service with a smile, the room was nice with a comfortable bed and a good hair dryer, the Italian restaurant was good especially at lunch time.\r\n\r\nThe way your hotel is run is a complete shambles, allowing young children to run amok unsupervised.\r\n\r\nThe hotel should say on your web site NOT SUITABLE FOR COUPLES, \r\nWhat a shocking experience we had, I would not stay with you ever again, further more I would certainly NOT recommend it to anyone.\r\n\r\nSincerely Mt S Jones and Beverley Jones.\r\n
